Didn't realize how long it had been since I have been on here! Here are some new paintings. I haven't had as much time to paint but will in a few months.
My daughter in law and granddaughter will be moving to Virginia Beach this summer. I have been Cordie's main caretaker and have loved every minute of it! I will have to fill my time with something and it might as well be painting!

So, this past weekend, I decided to try my hand at a new medium. I bought some, canvases, gesso and acrylic paints.
I think I like it, but I will continue to experiment and see where it takes me.

Ok, so I made a little deal with myself, not change my journal entry until I had a comment on it.  Farwise wins the prize!I haven't done much painting lately.  Too  much of my real life intruding.  Besides, I need to sell some of what I have before I can justify adding to the pile.I have a show coming up on September 20th, so wish me luck!  It's a local "focus on our local artists" show held at the city park.I'm curious as to how the rest of you have done it when you were starting out.  It's been a year this month since I have started painting.Any dialog is appreciated.  Don't need to wait 4 months either!

How long have you been a Christian? I became one when I was 15 (about 4 years ago) God Bless xI became a Christian at age 9 (many years ago!) Unfortunately like many, I didn't make Christ the Lord of my lfe till much later (1997).
It makes a huge difference...relationship vs knowledge.
I lost a son to suicide 4 years ago and if I hadn't been in a much closer relationship with God, i couldn't have survived it.
I look forward to seeing more of your work!
